My girl is in school in Monterey currently and said even tho it’s supposed to be a beautiful day, all you see is smoke in the skies. Freaking insane. Record fires on the west coast and record snow on the east.

I went with RMR since they were out before Prinsu. I’m happy with the product, they make nice stuff but the Prinsu looks a little cleaner. Attention to details on the RMR wasn’t perfect and the feet were definitely not the cleanest. Had to get different front feet afterwards as well (they covered cost). Overall I’m happy and glad to support a small shop but the Prinsu definitely seems like the better product and deal.

Ultimately what it boils down to for me. I’ve seen a few complaints about the RMR and don’t want to be one of those. Prisnu is pretty tried and true, plus I really like that it bolts directly to the roof. I’ll be having stuff up there all the time (solar) and I want it to be as secure as possible. I’ll also be loading it up pretty heavily when moving this summer and down want to deal with any sort of flex or deflection.

Was excited to build the TrailRunner up but fiancé decided she wants to keep it so we can have kids next year.

Looks like I gotta find another vehicle to build :anonymous:

Yeah I knew what I was getting into jumping on a new product from a new company so I'm fine with it. I sent a really long review after install and use which they said is helpful so I know they'll continue to improve/upgrade. That Prinsu looks damn nice though. I am jealous.

Hey guys. Im looking into a used 2014 4runner trail with 41k miles. Asking 28.8k.

What are the key differences for lifted a 2wd vs 4wd 4runner?

Example:Like how with a taco you can do 4 inch spindles on a 2wd but not 4wd.
