All of that exposed power makes me nervous...
Is there a cover for that?

There is indeed a cover. There is also a inline breaker for the fuse block as well.

I've just seen shit ground out things that shouldn't be grounded. I know there is a cover for the cubby but what about that distribution block? If that compressor decides to lean and kiss that power bar it could get expensive.

Hey everyone-- thinking of selling my 4th gen 4Runner. Hoping to get some direction and advice on what an appropriate asking price would be.

    2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4
    4.0L V6 w/5-speed automatic
    4WD: 2WD / 4WD HI / 4WD LO / A-TRAC
    White paint
Leather interior w/power adjustable and heated front seats; rear cargo shelf - no 3rd row
    Sunroof
    JBL stereo w/RDS

    Current mileage: 153,xxx miles

    Modifications...
    Suspension:
--Old Man Emu 3” lift kit (Nitrocharger Sport shocks and coil springs directly from OME)
--SPC upper control arms (new upper ball joints installed in 2017)
--Sway bars removed (I have a stock set from a V8 4th gen ready to go on the truck)
    Wheels/tires:
--16” Toyota steelies (from an FJ, I believe) painted white
    --255/85/16 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2s
    --Matching 5th wheel/tire spare
    Armor:
--Custom high-clearance front bumper w/CB antenna mount, amber DRLs, round long-range LEDs, and built-in LED fog lights (bumper repainted 12/2018)
    --Rock sliders (repainted 10/2018)
    --Front skid plate
    Mechanical:
    --Hi-Lux snorkel
    --High-clearance tucked exhaust w/Dynomax muffler
    --K&N intake filter (installed 6/2018)
--NGK Iridium plugs & ACDelco boots (installed 6/2018)
    --Deep-cycle marine battery
    Exterior:
--Custom roof rack w/perimeter LED lights (activated by switch on center console)
    --Smittybilt awning
    --Projector headlight upgrade (from a later-model 4th gen 4Runner)
--Bumper-mounted round LED lights (activated by switch on center console)
    --LED reverse lights
    Interior:
    --Trunk LED lighting
--Cargo management drawer system / sleeping platform
--CB mounted in center console w/mic mounted for easy access
    --Rubber floor mats

Thoughts on what a good price to list it at would be?

Alright so comparable models/prices via Craigslist...

    2005 Sport Edition - 146k miles - stock - $9500
    2005 Limited - 169k - stock - $6000
    2006 SR5 - 115k - stock - $8300
    2005 Sport - 161k - $8800
    2006 SR5 - 160k - stock - $8900
    2005 SR5 - 101k -stock - $10295
    2006 SR5 - 152k - stock - $8900
    2005 SR5 - 130k - stock - $9999
    2006 Sport - 173k - stock - $9999
    2004 SR5 - 162k - stock - $7300
    2006 SR5 - 107k - stock - $10500
    2005 SR5 - 176k - stock - $6500
    2005 SR5 - 94k - light mods - $9000

A lot of others with either well over 200k miles or something like 85k. This was the best sample I could find in a few minutes...

$12,500 for mine? That a pipe dream?

Alright I'll probably list it around $12,000 then. Unless I can swing a trade for something else.

Also just a heads up the FJ steelies are 17". If yours are 16" they could be a set of Tacoma spares

If your truck has no body or wheel damage and no indications of the off-roading you have shown pictures of then $12,000 might be acceptable. Otherwise it's high. Modified and off-roaded trucks are hard to sell

Just did this with new axle seal. Old bolt was a bitch to get out, I’m sure this will help tremendously
