Looks like I am getting started on the savage bumper this weekend

I think I finally settled on a front bumper, Addicted Offroad. Just have to get the money for lift, rims, tires and bumper lol

 

omg those are awesome... those addicted offroad bumper are pure sex.

the only reason i went w savage is that its adaptable for body lifts..

addicted isn't.

 

Are you planning a body lift? I was debating getting one but decided against running 35's up here in the mountains. With Addicted I can save on shipping and do a store pick up which will be nice.

 

I will try not to. But if i need it for 33s, then it might have to happen.

 

You shouldn't need it for 33's with the lift you are putting on. I know one of the issues is with the UCA's, I plan on using Spidertrax spacers in the front to combat that.

Ripped off the stock bumper:

Now that I had space to work with, I soldered the wiring for the turn lights:

Installed the bumper brackets to the frame:


Set the bumper in:

Rattled it in place:

Cut off the stock fog plugs and soldered them to the led pods:

I still need to trim the inner fenderwell splash guards. You can see them from the front perspective view.

 

Looks awesome! Did you go with the LED turn signals? Man I want a sport hood too!

 

nah, they're just plain jane bulbs.

 

@dakotasyota just got a 3rd gen.. hes up in wash i think

 

Probably easier going that route, don't have to mess with resistors. Looks really good though.

 

I have it in the shop right now. Getting the timing belt done, tranny service, and a AC vacuum and recharge.
