oh no, I thought you were looking for a filler while you cut one up. I forgot where I bought mine but have it written down somewhere, I believe it was about $40-$50

I'd like to color match it. Duplicolor does a perfect job matching Toyotas OEM colors

I had the master cylinder fail but not my brake booster. Good thing too. Boosters are expensive

what was the symptoms on the master cylinder?

these past few days ive felt ive had to press my brake in further than normal to get the 4runner to start slowing down.

or pump it a few times..

That sounds like master cylinder to me. I had that issue or as I like to call it, airy brakes. One thing that I would do to see if it fixes the problem is bleed your brakes. It helps a lot

I know, when thinking about doing my bumper color, I kept thinking black and doing my flares color matched with the Duplicolor

my Camry is doing the same thing.

i bled the brakes and it still does it.

Would be a coincidence if BOTH master cylinders failed on BOTH vehicles at the same time

It kinda just depends how airy they are. When I did it on mine I did several pumps on each wheel. Probably went through a half a bottle each time I did the process. They did feel better each time

There is one way that my auto shop teacher showed me. I know it works on my 2nd gen but I'm not sure it is reliable for other cars. He told me to slightly push on the brake pedal and start the car. If I felt the pedal try to push out it was good, if it didn't the cylinder was dying. Mine didn't push out and sure enough 7 or so months (and 6 brake bleeding sessions) later my cylinder gave out completely

Yeah then it probably is only a matter of time then

One thing I must warn the with the brake bleeding. When it completely goes you will still have a little pedal left, but if you try to bleed it after it goes out 100% you will have no brake pedal at all. Definitely keep to bleeding at your house. I made the mistake of doing it at a friends and had to drive home with no brakes
