So I did a burnout in the 4Runner and then was just on my way... Then when I came up to the stop sign I pushed hard on my super squishy brakes and the ABS kicked in! My ABS light isn't on anymore haha! woohoo!!

Except... Now the ABS kicks in literally all the time... It sucks

Where did you get that bracket from?

He is doing this without an extra charge? Man I kinda like that! So 15% off. So that pretty much saves you on shipping..
That A frame is neat, I like it. You mentioned the jerry can holders are detachable?

I started installing my lift today. Finished the front, got started on the rear and will finish the rear tomorrow. Usually people break the ABS lines during the process, I was super careful. Hopefully no lights come on when I finish it.

A Guy on T4R.org is making them and selling them. $55 shipped, if you are interested I can get his email for you and I am sure he would sell them. Sweet can't wait to see the finish lift pictures!

I agree with you, that's why I like the CBI rear bumper a lot more than the Shrockworks. The CBI looks a lot cleaner, especially when you add the jerry cans. That is awesome he is doing that for you, and it will probably look a lot better than the one currently offered by them.

@RedRunner87 I totally agree with you...that's why I had to change my bumper!!

    @ramonortiz55

Mark at ShrockWorks is a really easy guy to talk/deal with. And Yes...Mark said he could do it for no up-charge...mainly because They are using everything from their stock parts. Item they already have and just need to match together!! I'm Really excited!!!

Your favorite group buy person organized the GB with ShrockWorks...it just ended on 10-22. We had over 50 guys sign up...but yes, we ended up with a 15% discount...which is pretty much standard with ShrockWorks.

Shipping...yeah, basically your 15% discount ends up being free shipping. I saved $240 on my order and my shipping cost was $199...IIRC. I'm not as lucky as you are @ramonortiz55 and live in GODs promise land...Texas!! Although I was born and raised in east Texas...I unfortunatley now live in purgatory (Ohio). It would be sweet to not have the shipping charge, but one thing I can say about ShrockWorks...you get your money's worth for shipping. When they shipped my front bumper and sliders...the sliders were incased in foam inside a cardboard box...while the bumper was wrapped in enough plastic wrap to reach from here to the moon! And then both were attached to a wooden pallet with a wooden crate structure built over top of them. It took me almost half an hour to free them from their shipping container!! So although shipping isn't cheap...at least you definitely know where your money went. They probably have $50-$75 in shipping materials!! And all my items arrived nice and safe....with not one scratch on anything!!

Oh dude...the JK "A" frame is sweet...here what ShrockWorks says about it:

"....It’s built like a bank vault. The optional accessories like jerry can mounts and the cargo/cooler rack can be bolted on or off at any time. You can buy them now or later and they can be removed if you don’t need or want them on there at certain times.

Also, due to the modular design that includes holes all along the top face and edges of the swing arm frame, you are free to dream up and build whatever sort of accessory, mount or carrier you might need and simply bolt it on and off.

The JK tire rack will accommodate up to a 38" tire. The tire mount is adjustable in/out and up/down for different tire heights and widths as well as wheel offsets. This allows you to set the tire height for best departure angle or best visibility out the back window.. your choice.

The rack comes standard with a Hi-Lift jack mount and a CB antenna Tab...."

I personally don't understand why they don't offer this for our 3rd gen 4Runners!!

I was in the group buy for a full set of skids, but ended up having to help a guy at work so my group buy money went away till the end of the month. Hopefully there is another one that pops up sooner rather than later. I really want a full set of their skids for the Runner.

@ramonortiz55 great job Buddy!! She looks great!! Did you go down and get a front end alinement yet? If not...get there soon!! Save your front tires. If you already did...how did it go with your All Pro "A" arms...did they allow you to get within spec's?? I have a set I haven't installed yet...hoping they will do the trick for mine?!?!

Your 4Runner looks awesome...getting some height!! But kinda looks a bit funny with thoes little tires on there....lol!! You're going to have to take a couple G's out of that lumpy mattress of yours and buy some bigger tires! Like maybe some 33's...Ooooooooohhhhhh yeah!! Stepping up with the big Boys now. Hahahaha!!

Hey bro...all seriousness...that Hurricane Patrica supposed to be no joke. Hope yall goes well for you and your family. I have family/friends still down there in Texas...very worried about flooding. So make sure you take care of yourself. And park on high ground tonight. Suck to wake up in the morning to find your girl underwater :-(

You're in our prayers my friend

@RedRunner87...aaaawwwwww dude, that totally sucks you missed out on the GB! But, at the same time...that shows your one hell of a friend...to loan him your "Toy"money!! Wow!! Hopefully something works out for you. I've never had any other skid plates before...so I don't have anything to compare them to. But my ShrockWorks skids are just frik'in amazing!! Nice clean cut edges..mounting holes exactly where they are supposed to be...went on crazy easy!! I think we had to drill 2 maybe 3 holes per the instructions...everything else used factory holes. Unbelievable coverage and looks...too include coverage for the gas tank. I'm a very very Happy Camper with them!!

If I see or hear of anything I'll let you know for sure. Maybe you could call into the shop and explain to Mark what transpired...who knows?? They might step-up and honor the GB price?? Definitely wouldn't hurt to ask. You need those skids...especially since you're living in Colorado. Speaking of, how far do you live from Castle Rock...which is just south of Denver? Have family that live there...and I lived 2 years in Colorado Spring...while in the Army. Wow...winter/summer, doesn't matter...so much to do..so much fun..breath take'n view!! You're a lucky man....incredibly beautiful country you live in..very lucky!! After Texas, Colorado would be a very close second if I had the choice where to live. Unfortunately I don't get that choice...so I live neither place. Instead I live in purgatory...AKA: Ohio....lol!!

    Good luck with the Skids....

That is a good idea, now I have to think lift or Shrockworks skids lol. Shrockworks makes some clean looking skids, and I really like that they are full set. Most of the other skids are only engine, trans and crossmember. I like that theirs go all the way to back of the truck.

So far I have only been out on one trail so far, but I love being back in the mountains. I do a lot of hiking as well, so the area I live in is great for that. I am about an hour and half or so from the Springs so probably about 2 hours from Castle Rock. I am assuming you were stationed at Fort Carson? If you were, basically you head West from there for an hour and half and you are in Buena Vista. Out here in the sticks, but pretty close to some good snowboarding. That's funny, I was very very close to moving to Texas but I eventually got a job out here in CO. My family was from Ohio and I have only been out there once. I can see why would say that.

This was on my way to work yesterday

Yeah...I was stationed at Ft Carson. I've been out your way for sking. My second year I lived up in the mountains sking every weekend!! If I wasn't sking...I was hunting!! Gosh I miss living in Colorado!! Always something to do. If your a fat guy/gal in Colorado...it's because you want to be fat...lol!!

@RedRunner87 I can't believe you've only been off road once!! Dude you need to hook up with someone on here or around town and hit the trails!! That's the one thing I really didn't get to do when I lived in Colorado...was 4Wheeling. I was just out of high school didn't have a 4x4. When I was in high school I was more into Hotrods!! So summer time we did a lot of hiking like you....and white water rafting.

Hey thanks for the picture too. Awesome looking at the mountains with snow on them...when it's warm down on the flat land. Knowing that in an hour or two you could be up there playing in the snow if you wanted to!!

That is my plan this winter. I already have my season pass to Ski Cooper just North of Leadville. I plan on being up there every day off I have till the resort closes. I completely agree with you, I try to get out hiking once a week and explore the mountains here. If you are fat it is because you aren't enjoying the outdoor life. I've never been hunting before, I am hoping I can get into that next year.

My problem is my days off are during the week and everyone goes wheeling on the weekends. In May a couple friends and I are going camping from CO to AZ. Running as many offroad trails in the process, that should help me explore some of the trails around here. Now that we are starting to get snow a lot of mountain passes are going to be snowed in anyway. This gives me time to get my lift, tires, bumper and winch bought and installed.
