That would require so much work time and money. I'd need to find the swing out and find a tailgate for it (probably have to paint it too) rip off my old one, wire up and attach the new one, and then mount the swing out. I don't know if I'd trust myself mounting that swing out with how much wait they are.

Also if I'm not mistaken the body is actually slightly different for the swing out ones then the non swing out ones, which if that's the case would cause an extra problem

2nd gen is the only 4wd toyota I would do that to why? Cheap, and 3.slow.

the stock swing out is cool as hell though

The only thing wrong with them is that torsion bars blow! There isn't a good way to lift them and no flex

What are you asking for your Beadlocks? What size? If they have tires...what size? Willing to seperate?

I've got no monies or place to store it. Once we get a bigger place and more than just street parking i will be getting a project.

I'm going to replace my timing belt cover on my 4Runner tomorrow as it has been cut to fit a supercharger. Do I need to do a full fluid replacement to remove the upper radiator hose or could I get away with just removing the hose, adding the same amount of coolant back in and burping the system?

That is my problem, I don't have a garage. So a project like that wouldn't happen.

I'm trying to sell them together for around 2000 OBO. Perfect shape toyo MTs in 285/75/17. Wheels are 17" and Come with the spacers on them.

That was quick...has a sale pending on it.

Shoot...that was a money maker. Could have bought it for $500 and sold it on a quick flip for $1500!! Someone so

Did you get your electrical problem fix??
With your coolant...open your radiators cockpit and drain your antifreeze into a clean vessel. Approximately a quart or two (make sure you block off your over-flow coolant bottle before starting). Then close the cockpit back up...now you'll be able to remove your upper radiator hose without making a huge mess. Once done with your TB, reattach your over-flow coolant bottle...then just pour the antifreeze back into your system. Good luck!

Thanks Matt...appreciate the info. I'm looking for some 17x9 or 17x10's Beadlocks. Not really looking for tires unless they're 33x12.5. Thanks again.

No worries...thanks. Hey Matt, when you drive your 4Runner with the Beadlocks on...do you notice anything different? Or do they give just a normal nice comfortable ride. I think I want Beadlocks...unless the ride is changed for the worst.

Thank you for your opinion and observations,

    Sweet HIDs...I love mine!!

My opinion is slightly skewed. The truck rides a bit different from the Tacoma. My Tacoma has 33" Toyo ATIIs. Those are a load C tire. The tires on the T4R are load E so they are stiffer.

Beadlocks are hard to balance so I expected the ride to be worse. It's not bad. I drove about 300 miles on them today and they felt fine. Would be better without beadlocks but just slightly.

You got an awesome deal on your 4Runner. The PO spent a ton of money on it. Frik'in awesome $4-5,000 suspension upgrades. HID's in the headlights...another $5-600 depending which he purchased...Beadlocks with Toyo MT's that's another $3000+!! Wow...you made out!! Good for you Bro!!

The balancing is actually what I was worried about. That much hardware spinning...I figured it would be difficult to balance. For me, if it can be pretty close...I'm fine. Just as long as it's not shacking to truck apart...haha!!

I'm running Toyo's AT II's also...what an awesome tire!! I love them. So quite on the road...smooth riding you forget you are running a AT tire. Top it off...does pretty darn good off road...except in deep sticky mud. But snow and ice is great!...IMHO...
