Nope, you could add one easy enough, but the rear skid is easy to remove, so I never felt the need.

Anybody run RCI skids? I'm looking at those after my sliders.

I don't really care. I just want to use the same pic I use on T4R that I made but I can't figure put how to make it work
My drain plug is pretty easy to get to, but then again, I'm not armored. Only have 1 skid plate and thats the stock one (which I almost lost once. Lesson of the day, ALWAYS check how tight your friends leave your bolts, even if they're using power tools). Still, even I admit that is a handy plug. If they have one for the 3.0 I might be interested.
I agree with that. I used to have a small tent in the back of my runner in high school along with emergency food and water. There were times where I would just take off and wouldn't come back for a few nights. Used to piss my mom off real bad like that since she wouldn't know until later since she never saw me loading gear haha. Never felt in danger out there by myself. Anyone who knew what I did would freak out when they realized how young I was.
I can almost guarantee you the second gen is worse. The drain plug is easy but the stupid f'ing filter is so hard to get at. You have to pretty much be a contortionist to get it. The sad thing was it was a pain while I had it on a lift. I don't even want to think of how IMPOSSIBLE it'll be on a jack

There's Corova and Corolla, both of which are pretty North comparatively. Close to the VA/NC State line
I'll likely be in Wilmington sometime in March. I often surf with people from down there and want to take another visit as I didn't get to last year. The Outer Banks has a good amount of beach driving and it's something like $110 for an annual permit. That and there's a free permit for beach campfires as well.
I am very jealous of your matching armor however. Don't you have a rear coming from them?
You couldn't have said the KOA comment better. Luckily we have a few NPS campgrounds that don't stay heavily occupied throughout the summer and into the fall.

    Do tell...
Unfortunately there's not many places I go without established campgrounds. I'm looking for any excuse to ditch the ground tent at this point. There is one campground around the Oregon Inlet(see below) that I think you can free tent on the beach. It would be the Northern side which appears at the top left of the picture. If that's the case, I think I found my new favorite camp site and excuse to buy a RTT

You just have to resign yourself to spilling all the oil from the filter. I can do the drain plug with the stock skids on without spilling. Then the oil filter just pukes and I have to watch it drip for days. Lol

We need a remote oil filter group buy! Lol

Guys. I want your opinion. I'm loving the stock front bumper look on the T4R. It has good approach angles. Really digging this small armor upgrade. Do you guys think I should go with the grill hoop or no grill hoop? Won't be soon, just seeing.

I was thinking that too. Plus my girlfriend would not be able to say it's ugly because it looks the same as stock. I'd PC it black with the rigid lightbar cutout.
Damn. Why can't you all agree.

I got 2 of the three. I'll be interested in an awning possibly.

I don't know. I think no hoop looks classy.

Depending on price, an awning would be sweet.
