Driving down a sandy wash in Mojave. We were going like 20mph and all of a sudden it was raining stones so I stopped and saw that. Never felt anything and didn't hear anything, but the music was loud.

I still run the other 2 from that set on my trailer but I get a little nervous each time I go out.

I get my MTR's balanced once a month. Makes a difference, I like it.

That's too much time in the shop for my liking. I got my coopers balanced when they were put on and still feel perfect like 6 months later.

Btw if you come to Cali in the next month let me know and we can hit up one last trail before I take off.

I agree. Tires shouldn't need to be balanced that much. If they do there's a problem. The most often I could justify balancing them is every time I rotate them and even them that's a lot. I'd probably only do it if I either had my own my machine or had access to one for free

I mean Americas tire will do it for free, but not what I want to spend my free time doing.

Oh didn't know that. I come from a small town where every shop will charge you for that. I'm just glad I know how to do it though because I'd like to be able to get good enough relations with a shop where they'll let me ise their equipment, kinda like what I have going on at homw

That is one of the reason I like America's/Discount Tire. I won't be going through them for my 4Runner tires though, I did find a set of ST/Maxx for under $800 on ebay.

Very nice. I think I ended up paying like 975 for my 5 installed after all was said and done.

So far I've gotten all my tires installed for free. Lets see how much longer that lasts though...

I think it would be less expensive for you to take it to a shop then pay for both of us to go to my home town for that hahaha
