I'm pretty sure anything oversized minus General AT2s are E rated.
Our 99 has E rated tires with no problems

All I've ever ran is E's on my 3rd gen and they were fine. The 255's won't be as bad as they are still light and have a lot of sidewall to flex.

This coming from the guy who's usually at the center of the peer pressuring? Lol

I don't have a single complaint about them. I think a lot times when you hear guys complain about the ride it has more to do with the shocks/springs they've chosen or running too much pressure. I got lucky and my combination ended up riding fantastic.

So, thanks to seeing a lifted 4th gen 4Runner yesterday I am seriously debating on getting the Toytec 1" body lift to go with my 3" Toytec suspension:crapstorm:...I know body lifts are usually a no-no but I also know that usually goes for 3" or something ridiculous. Anyway, I have an extremely slow Friday on deck today and that's not good for me when I'm mulling over a mod purchase. Oh well, at least I won't be able to blame it on impulse when I probably order it this afternoon:cheers:
I have tried searching for this combo on the forum and web with no real luck with a 4th gen T4R. I found the single cab taco with it but that just doesn't give me the comparison I am looking for. Anybody have a pic of said combo or know where I can find it?

Your choice, but if I were you I would just stick with the 3". A buddy has a 3" lift on his 4th gen and it looks good and is extremely capable. He's got stock wheels and tires so it seems small, but after tires, it'll be nice.

im at 2.5-3" lift on mine with a 2" rear lift. I think its a good height. I do with sometimes i got a small body lift just for the added height but i had already had my bumper made so im stuck.

216K on mine. I have been DD mine the last few months, I need to switch back to the Camry now that the weather is nicer.

    Um no..?

Aren't you supposed to be at work? :p
Agreed. When I went the Anza trip the guy I was riding with usually put 33 psi in his tires but accidently put 40 in on the way back. He wasn't enjoying the ride and it made it a little stiffer. The pressure does make a difference
