@RedRunner87 I have a box that just arrived from Camelback sitting in my living room. Full of... Tundra brake parts! :D I'll start a small build thread and post pics on Monday when they go on, and link it on here. The rotors are freaking massive from what I can tell off the bat lol.

@ramonortiz55 powdercoat would be nice, but I doubt it would hold up at all if you're really bashing on it, and then its impossible to touch them up while still on the truck. So IMO good call on the spray paint! Just use a good amount of self-etching primer first haha

@ramonortiz55 I'll get some good ones in a second! And no worries, not a chance in hell I bought new calipers haha. Found them used at a junkyard in Billings for $40!!! A rebuild kit cost $10, and a few hours with an angle grinder, paint, pick set, and LOTS of brake clean, I should have a nice set of used/rebuilt calipers! I can definitely get a nice write up for you guys :) BTW, I'm only in about $285 for my whole tundra brake swap, before buying fluid and other little odds and ends.

I know some guys are using the Rustoleum bed liner spray paint. They said it holds up better to the beating the sliders get with rocks hitting them. I think I am going to go that route.

Sweet! The Tundra brakes are definitely on my list of upgrades, but the PO just had the brakes 30K miles ago. So it might be later on down my list. I am definitely looking forward to seeing you get those done though.

Yeah man, check out the tundra brake upgrade section on this site: http://www.speedysgarage.net/sportrunner/index.htm. He's got lots of great writeups on there!

That's what I'm hoping for! :D driving the continental divide all the time isn't exactly nice to brakes lol

Yeah man, montana is so gorgeous. Well worth the drive anywhere you go haha! I drove 500 miles one way last weekend to go visit my girlfriend, and never once left montana haha. If I was over closer to the eastern border of the state, I could probably drive for at least 12 hours and still be in state!
