I've been so tempted to take the 4runner out on one last wheeling trip, but I know I will mess something up. The Tundra is just too big to take on any trails other than deserts.

I've been talking to Insain fab for a couple days now about a bumper option. Care if you can hook me up and drop my name in for a reference?

I wish I could, but I don't know them personally. My friend(who is a mod here) knows them and told me go to them, they did his lift on his Tundra.

That is good to hear for me at least. I hope they work out as well, would be bummed if I spent all this money on the lift and the rear coils were terrible.

yeah we had a good laugh at that...

after winching the jeep out of there, the cable kept getting tangled .. and there wasn't enough room to stretch it out and untangle it..if he was to stretch it out, he wouldve headed towards the deeper part of that water you see in the other picture where he winched the Jeep out.

I am going to use this BS thread as a reminder of what to do tomorrow:

    1. Spray paint the angle iron I will be using the cap plate mod for my winch bumper.
    2. Disconnect my driver's side ditch LED pod to send in for warranty claim due to condensation.
    3. Disable DRL and set up anytime fog light mod
    4. Measure out the amount of coax needed to wire out my CB radio, order coax cable.
    5. Order amsoil from @Russtoy
    6. Enlarge bolt holes for the BD lights on front bumper.
    7. Add additional rivets to hood strut brackets
    8. If hood switch arrives, install switch for hood lights.
    9. If mstudt CB antenna bracket arrives, paint it.
    10. Get inspection done for expired inspection sticker
    11. Finish researching VSC, TRAC, and ABS disable mod

    I am done.

    Good night.

I'm so glad I have a 2000 and don't have to mess with all of yalls VSC, TRAC, and ABS. To disable my DRL, I just disconnected one wire. If I want them back on...plug that one wire back in...poof...it's done!

Also send me your Amsoil order and I'll get you taken care of.
@dtaco06 It's easy to pick out @ramonortiz55 rig...it's the one with NO "Roof Rack" on it!! He was to busy trying to get a GB going with the vendor...by the time he finally just put in his order, he was too late and lost out...you snooze you loose!!
@dtaco06 I feel you on this! When I went to court for full custody for my son...I racked up a nice $30k bill with my attorney and then almost another $1k in court cost!! It's all a frik'in scam!! There's no reason in the world it should cost that much money! Well I'm happy for you that you're able to live with your mom to be able save up and get your own condo...so your son have a house that he can be proud of...that he can call his own!! This is way more important to a kid than most people think. But see, this is the difference between a man and a women. You just saw/heard what a man will do...make sacrifices to ensure his son has a stable environment and house to live in that he can call his own!!

Now...If this was a women...she would had simply put in for welfare, food stamps with a Medicad card...this is all done before she leaves the court house. Now she'll quite working cause she "needs" to care for her kid..at lease that's what the Social Worker has told her. So now child support starts to roll in. So why work...free apartment, free food, free spending money...and lay around the house all day eating Ho Ho's and getting fat(ter)!!!! She'll move into the her free welfare apartment...so now the son is embarrassed about where he lives (kids at school make fun of him...thus causing fights) Now after school the only kids he has to hang with are other welfare kids (not all welfare kids are bad...but 80%+ are) and so now the son starts hanging around "the wrong crowd" and starts to make new unwanted friend....called the Police. For breaking into cars, fights, and criminal damaging. Then your son starts to learn that welfare is also a job opportunity. All you have to do is get a girl pregnant and the government will pay for everything and he can live off her and his kid. Never having to get a real job...and work!

Yall might think I'm full of poop about this. As a Police Office...I'm telling you...this is what actually happens!! Not to all...but it happens to too many. Very sad!! I bet @dtaco06 wasn't offered welfare or welfare apartment. They damn sure didn't offer me anything.

Anyway...I'll get off my soap box and quite preaching. Give you another big shout out @dtaco06 for doing to right thing and taking care of your son!!! Good man!!

my runner still a work in progress. right now i'm trying so "smooth out" the kinks on my lift. next project will be installing my southern style speed front hybrid bumper and winch (which i have already), next would be the gobi roof rack, any GB anytime soon?:D i really like those square lights on you A pillar. did you have to fabricate a bracket to mount those? these are my plan so far. oh yeah and bigger tires for sure since i have a lift, looks kinda funky with those factory 265's
