I like the look of it a lot more than the ARB one. They barely clear but it works, just have to figure out lights now.

We are taking a different approach on the front bumpers on all makes and models. The "wings" or corners will bolt to the main center section.

    Reasons:
    • More compact when shipping to keep that cost down.
    • Easier to build on our end as far as fixtures which keeps operating cost down and can pass the savings on to the buyer
    • Replaceable in case you ever get in an accident and only damage a "wing". Call us up, we ship a new one, saves you from buying an entirely new bumper.
    • Wings and main portion are built with vertical slots and alignment holes so you can adjust where you want it to sit. Some people like it tight against the truck, some want a small gap so when it flexes on the trail (all bumpers flex, the nature of steel), it doesn't do any body damage.
Also, the 4Runners have no good way to attach to the chassis. Almost all if not all bumpers require you to weld a plate to the chassis for a bolt point. We can up with a better way of doing it that will require the buyer to never have to touch a welder considering that is a skill and most people don't own one...

Going to offer hoops on it as well. Just didn't draw them in, that is an easy thing to make after the fact.

Got back from rock therapy and the @Bruteforce Fab bumpers and sliders did their job. Soon as I have some down time ill pull the photos and videos of me banging the steel on some rocks. Billys kick outs on the sliders did an excellent job getting me around some tight spots and around the rocks. I did suffer some very minor body damage that you cant see since the swing outs cover it. The bottom corners of my lift gate did get bent in a little from all the body flex and bumper hitting it.

Yea, its been a fun rig. I havent heard of the head gasket issue. But could be. I've never had an issue with anything from the motor. I do believe you are correct on the 4 speed.

Good to know, thanks for the info.

    Craigslist

Not in any rush, I don't need to sell it, just doesn't get used much anymore. Always open to offers.

I'd rather have the 4.0 then the v8, personally. Nothing against the V8, just in everything I have read I would prefer teh 4.0. Alot more aftermarket as well.
If you want to talk suspension, the average user isn't going to even know what your's is or use it to the full potential. If Im correct in assuming you have gone full LT, which kudos by the way cuz that's just awesome, then it's street manners will be much different then a lift using a OME set up. Mine spends 95% of its life on the street now and handles great. Again, not saying your's doesn't handle great, but its a completely different thing.

Someone looking for a LT rig is way different then someone who is looking for an all around everyday offroad capable rig that they can drive 8 hours in then hit the trail..again not trying to imply you can't do that with your rig.

Also the area may have an extreme impact on the pricing. In Montana, Wyoming, Colorado area these are worth much more with their 4x4 capability and populatiry. More so then I would imagine needed in California..but again, I could be mistaken as I do not live there.

whose to say the gears and whatnot were installed properly? After working in a dealership you'd be surprised the hack jobs people drive around.

I also understand this. I;ve only owned one vehicle stock in my life. Many times I have gotten my asking price, often its been lower. Really depends on market, and who might be searching for what. As state someone might not be as mechanically inclined and doesn't want to pay for all the work that has been invested into this already. I was one of those people when I purchased it.

After owning it for 2 years, and having a shop redo the rear end and double check everything already in place when a pinion got messed up, I feel more then confident that the gears and "what not" were installed properly.

you must know, after I clearly put it, that I do not live in the area so I have very little knowing or understanding of the climates in the area.

But feel free to continue critizing and questioning everything I know or have done. I am happy to answer any of the questions.

OR would you prefer I start questioning everything about your rig or your knowledge?

you can go ahead but im just saying your price is high as fuck, not saying you wont get it but if you're attempting to sell it. Be a little realistic. But dont get your ass hurt when someone questions your high price.
