Supercharger is probably worth $1500 as is.

 

Is it me or does that SC look rough?

 

If it doesn't make any noise, rebuilds are cheap and a can of degreaser goes a long ways

 

That's true. Definitely doesn't look like he took very good care of it. For $2k you could take the SC off and flip the Runner

 

I wish I had the extra coin right now.

 

We are trying to get a place too and I have to buy so many parts for the Runner to get her ready for FJ Summit

 

Yeah that sc is worth 2k on eBay, wish I had the cash to pick it up.

 

Just take out the seat bottoms and get a cheapo rack to put wood and other supplies on the roof. Better to get out now rather than later...

I would bet the cam cover seals are toast that is probably why it is covered in oil. clean and you are good to go.

Who is your provider?

I asked mine(GEICO) about modifications at one point and they said that they didn't need to know.

I paid $500 for my s/c, so sure as he'll not telling them about it. And if they asked I would play dumb. "They don't all have those?" "I don't know much about cars, I always have a shop work on it." LOL

 

So the guy I bought my 4runner off of got 6k in his buy out just because of the supercharger. The insurance company paid out the cost of a brand new SC and the cost of install. I was shocked by that but he definitely made out really good on his totaling.

 

i still havent installed my rear bumps, since i have to make a boxed set up to extend them it has me thinking of just buying 2" king air bumps.

That might be true, but at least the rear would be 100% matching and perfect. My OCD would make me do it

What's are your guys thoughts on the ebay UCA's for a trail rig? I will be swapping to manual hubs and both upper ball joints are toast, so figure I could get some ebay UCA's for $300 rather than spending money on stock parts. Otherwise the cheapest UCA out there is Light Racing and I will never run them on my truck (seen more damage from those than ebay uca's).

 

same here. would match and look good on IG and we all know that matters most

personally wouldnt run them nor trust them on anything.

 

Right now my roof rack has my hi lift and maxtrax. My buddy will have a Taco so that will be able to carry a lot more than the Runner
