Parts came in. Out with the old

 

That looks pretty cool.

 

Car still won't start, battery turns on but nothing else. Ideas?

 

Check every battery terminal connection.

 

Done. Checked ground as well. New battery within the last week. Not sure what effect that could have on anything

 

Starter isn't doing anything

 

Starter fuse is still good

 

One click to what I'm guessing is starter power but that's it

 

Sitting at 12.65

 

It's an optima battery. From my understanding, they need a certain charger to charge them. Last time the 4runner ran, it ran immediately with a jump. Has been sitting for 2 days. What are the chances of my battery just needing to be charged?

 

Going to try and jump it. If it jumps, does that mean it is a battery issue?

 

You can jump just the starter using jumper cables to make sure the starter works. Ground one of the cables from the battery to the block and touch the other one to the cable at the starter. You can do this with or without it on the car

Use your battery. You're basically verifying the connection from your battery to the engine is good. Make sure your key is in the on position too

The top spindle will turn clockwise but not counter clockwise, normal, not normal?
