Geez, apparently I needed to paint my 1st gen SC black as that gets peoples panties in a bunch. I sold a complete kit (minus IAC) and had to haggle to get near my price, but an incomplete 4th gen SC and everyone is whipping their wangs out for it.

I think an SC would blow my motor

I need to find some cheap Toyota CV's or do a quick swap here in a couple months.

    Fixed!

I just picked up another manual hub CV and will be doing a swap once I can afford some UCA's.

It would do that too. Trust me every time I drive the mountains I want either gears or a SC

I couldn't do mountains and elevation without one of them. I love the 3.4, but it's a turd at any incline.

With stock pulley at elevation I am pulling 5lbs. Not going to blow shit with that. Granted I haven't seen the values on a hill or the highway.

A buddy of mine that had gears raced me once. Closer than I wanted.

With the 5 speed it isn't too bad.

I think I know how we can settle this...say the guy with gears, SC, 7th and auto. On my way up the hill yesterday I was behind a 17 tundra. When the road switched to two lanes he passed the two cars in front of us then I forced him over as I passed him and ripped up the highway on hardpack. Truck is a beast right now. I can get the AFR's into 11.8 at 2500rpms in any gear. I need to tune just a bit more bc it"ll hit 10.9 if I'm pulling the boat and headed up the mountain. But I just let of the boost a little and it still does 60 pulling 14 ft jon uphill.

I think we're supposed to get 5-8 inches Saturday. I'm sure it'll be nonsense too because no one here knows how to drive in snow

I'm a little irritated as this has been the only place doing our family's inspections for 15+ years now. And they passed me last year with the exhaust and lights. I guess they expect me to have a piece of exhaust welded in only to cut it back out.

I really need to see what my afr is. I think I am leaning out under hard acceleration.

How do you fail lights? Probably a good thing they caught the fluid in brakes thing... Could have been a real bad problem.

The state doesn't do inspections. The front range does emissions.

I am probably the only person in this website that is in favor of both. No, taking the cat off doesn't make more power, and no tires are not good if you can see the belts...
