I felt really dumb after selling my tacoma but I ended up pretty happy with this rig so I'm glad it worked out!

It will work out for you too @rjsimz

Output is about the same. Difference is really in when the torque comes in.

Why is it that @MattJakobs always looks to get rid of your runner? I think I've told you before but yours is my fav on the site. Dig the 3rd gen and the color combo with the bumpers! Looks killer.

That's what I've heard. I definitely need the torque around here. Passing at 8-10k feet is sketchy in the Runner and Camry.

I don't wanna talk about it :anonymous:

I honestly thought going low would be fun....it's been alright but nothing compares to a vehicle that could do anything. Going fast is fun and all but looking over your shoulder constantly for cops and being paranoid isn't all that great. Speeding tickets are expensive.

I know what you mean. I love driving our new civic turbo! Thing is fast!!! It rivals my old 5 series bmw.

Had a lowered 350Z, learned the speeding ticket thing fast. Can't do lowered cars out here so that pretty much ruins any thought of a sports car out here.

Thanks man, means a ton. I BS about selling it but don't think I actually could. I don't need the money, I don't owe anything on it, and I still have a long list of things I want to do to it. I'm starting to fix all the little mistakes I made when I first got it and started doing stuff to it so it's nice to really clean everything up. I legitimately don't think I'd ever sell it regardless of how much I say I want to. I'll have a DD in a few years and I won't have to deal with the shitty MPGs everyday.

Been driving my dads Volvo with a T5 a lot recently. Just got back from driving it up to Baltimore too, definitely a fun change. There were at least few times I should've gotten a ticket

The way I'm looking at my rig right now is that if I sold it, I could get a cheaper vehicle and save some money (plus way more practical for my 2 hour traffic commute every morning), but I'd be bummed. I have so much in store for this rig in ideas. I'm really hoping that some of them come to light in the next year or so. A trailer won't be happening until I'm completely done with the truck. Will be awesome as a family camping rig.

Favorite thing on earth right now is camping with the GF. Workin 80 hours has me pretty down so any escape we can get together is amazing.

I'm in the same exact boat as far as keeping the 4Runner. I'd like to finish the 4Runner and I still do have some big plans in store for it.
Going camping taking trips with the 4Runner makes it all worth it. Visiting the girlfriend at school next week and just being able to drive it there will make me happy.

A good family friend of ours has an 89 4Runner and he's the original owner. All though it's not built, it still looks beautiful and seeing him with his makes me think I can't sell mine. He doesn't get to drive it much anymore but when he does, he gets stoked on it. As long as I can drive mine, I'll be keeping it.

Speaking of being able to drive the 4runner, you guys know how bad it is to drive on a uniball that needs to be replaced? Clunks pretty good, but I need to get to work lol.

    Supercharger fixes that...

Yikes. I can't even justify the $2500ish it'd cost to do mine. Maybe one day but give me that amount now and I'm getting a dual swing out rear bumper.
I guess I figure my 4Runner is a pig and it's going to stay a pig. It doesn't need to be fast

    They are only $500

My garage is locked and I know that it take 1 billion hours to remove all the accessory belts.
