I liked the Siri integration (nice for driving down the road and hands free checking), but the G7 widget has a delay from the actual reading so it’s useless in my opinion. Was nice to scroll over without unlocking the phone with the G6. Bunches more options to control alarms in the G7 app than previously. Libre is pretty limited with alarms, but it’s a worthwhile trade for me. The dexcom got caught on my shirt every single day, too. Much chunkier.

Must be an Apple vs Android thing. No perceivable delay at all with the Android app. But the extra notification "the dexcom app is running" was obnoxious AF.

Like I said overall it honestly seems like a decent system all things considered. But goddamn, that price is nuts.

Yeah I think you can get some really cool third party stuff for the Libre on android. Little hacks and whatnot. I think Libre is the most economical if paying out of pocket. With my insurance the dexcom was actually a bit cheaper than Libre through Amazon. $35 for 90 day supply or something. I hated dealing with durable medical equipment companies so anything I can grab at the pharmacy is a win for me.

Damn dude thats awesome. I looked at Amazon RX using the Dexcom cash pay coupon. Still $200 for a 30 day supply.

But yeah generally I agree, DME stuff is terrible to deal with.
