    Help,
I am trying to replace the rear diff u-joint on mY 1998 tacoma. I removed the drive shaft to make easier to work on,put the yoke on my vice, removed the clips. I used a 1 inch piece of shaft as a drift to drive
the u-joint cups out. No matter how hard I pound on the cup I can't get them to move. I have replaced u-joints on other vehicles and never had this much trouble.
Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    SMAGOHAWKS@COX.NET

My rear joint was "pressed' out....not worth beating the shaft or me to death..Few dollars at the parts store and done...
