Hey gang, I am a new member to the forum! I have a 2008 Tacoma and want to lube the u joints and related points...I checked underneath and could not find the usual lube points for my grease gun -are these joints sealed and therefore I should just leave them be? thanks, spk

You have a 2 wheel drive. There are no lube points. For some reason 4x4's have them, but I don't know why. BTW, welcome to Tacoma World.

The rear driveshaft on ALL tacomas has u-joints - and unless they are sealed units, they need lubricated.

The 2 wheel drive Tacomas use sealed u-joints. Again, I don't know why the 4x4s are serviceable and the 4x2s are not. Seems kind of strange to me.

Go about half way down this lube chart, it shows how many grease fittings there are.
