Uca help

    Excuse my ignorance, but I’ve been having trouble finding answers. So I’ve been doing research on getting new wheel and tires (285/70r17 2.5 inch lift) and I’ve been looking into new UCAs. Here recently I’ve come to realize that getting new ucas may be a stretch for me money wise, but I want to do it right. If I just get bigger tires and wheels, will I really need new uca? It drives fine atm.

    You will need the uca to be able to get enough caster on your alignment to help keep the tires from rubbing with a 285/70/17.

    Do it right the 1st time and never look back. Trust me, you will be glad in the long run. I did this last year. No regrets at all. Truck drives straight as an arrow and no weird tire ware. Good luck with your truck.

    They are going to rub on the back of the wheel well going into driveways while turning and in reverse.
    A cab mount chop is in your future also

    To do it right, yes. Lifts are expensive. Expect more costs. It may make sense to wait some more and increase the savings.

    Total Chaos, also did ECGS bushing, Marlin Crawler LCA braces, BAMF hangers and ARB air lockers. Then off to Moab for a week.

    Personally I have the JBAs. So I may be bit biased. But getting 4* of caster with them was zero issue. I have had them on for 2 years zero issues.
