The data that you'll see on the UG is the "unicorns and rainbows" data that the UCON is sending to the Toyota ECU. So what your UG says may not necessarily jive with whats really happening.

I removed the UG because the info I need from it (mainly trans temp) is available on my Pioneer radio now.

Its a Pioneer NEX 4201. Using the iDatalink Maestro RR interface. Shows TPMS too. Also alerts you when CEL is on and you can check the codes and clear them.

Nice! I've been wanting to do the same setup with Poineer and Maestro. good to see it works and provides the useful info i was looking for. Although, I might try an Android Unit first, because I can run Torque right on that (which I currently use and run on a spare phone). if the connectivity isnt there with the Android unit, the NEX + Maestro is what I'll be doing. May need to pick your brain later if so.

Since removing o2 sim, about 75 km of mixed driving, and batter disconnect, no P219A has reappeared.

EDIT: 2 miles after this it popped 219A and P0300

Scott knows about the P219a/b issue he said he's working on a software update to address it.

How is your uTune worked (who has it)?

I had a lot of difficulties to get it work, tried with 5 different computer/laptop before we got it work in my brother's laptop (Windows 10, 64 bit) and the session with Scott completed.

Scott said he is never seen this problem before and did not figure out what is the reason. Always the same thing (has stopped working) despite of the Windows version (7,8,10), 32 or 64 bit, AMD or Intel, does not matter.
    IMG_3404.jpg
Same Windows version, same processor, works in one, collaps in an other.

I'd like to get it work in my laptop. Any ideas?

No. It's something in the Windows files or lack of it. Maybe some different updatings in Europe than in US.

Scott has remoted in to my laptop twice now with no issues. Initially had a slow connection since I was in my driveway and was using home WiFi for connection. Turned on my phone hotspot then connected laptop to it and zero issues.

5 year old laptop running Windows 8. Not sure if 32 or 64 bit version.

Download the program using internet explorer, not chrome.

I was tracking (through Gadget) that the UCON would require no additional download/set up out of the box (I know this is pending everything working right).

That is the case correct? It should truly be PnP?
