so, prob should have asked this sooner, but I also don't think its a big deal: my truck has like 75-80k miles on it. regular oil changes (synthetic) and spark plug changes. Is that too many miles on an engine for a S/C?

I doubt it, but figured I'd ask (its going on regardless haha)

Got the update from scott. Dtill have seen 219A p0300 p0101 p0172. As another mentioned, my fifth gear has practically disappeared and its fucking annoying. Try to manually shift into fifth and it works rarely

Thats really odd GT7. Scott knows his stuff, he'll get you squared away, or point you in the right direction. Fwiw, mine did that with the bd tune...
After jacking with this thing since november my truck is finally running good.

Are you on a stock ECU or do you have Bully Dog / TRD? Curious that you cant shift to 5th. Have you tried moving the shifter to 4th then back to 5th?

So you have a rich code, a MAF code, a misfire code and an AFR imbalance code.

The p0172 (bank 1 rich) mine set right after the update along with a p0175 (bank 2 rich). Scott made a small change (ticked a box in the UCON settings) and the p0172/p0175 hasn't returned.

The p219a/p219b I had before the update, but after the update it never returned. That was one of the issues the update was supposed to address, I believe.

The p0300 (random cylinder misfire) I haven't had since installing the supercharger. That would be something I would keep an eye on. If the misfires continue, the PCM will eventually set an actual cylinder misfire such as P0301/2/3/4/5/6 indicating which cylinder is detected to be misfiring. If you can get a specific cylinder misfire code, you can try swapping the coil on that cylinder with a neighboring coil and see if the misfire moves to the other cylinder. Same thing with the plugs and injectors. You may have a failing ignition coil, an improperly gapped plug, one of the coil/injector connectors could be not fully seated, lots of things.

The p0101 MAF code I've seen from oil or dirt on the MAF. Did you use an oiled filter? It has also been caused by aftermarket intakes with improperly sized tubing. The MAF is calibrated for a certain size pipe and bigger pipes can make what the MAF reads inaccurate.

This is all just spit-balling, but some general things to consider.

I should add that they all appear at once.

    No oiled filter.

Maybe ill swap all the spark plugs and coils

    Thanks for your help buddy

Im on a road trip from Calgary to Phoenix. 1700 km in two days right after scott gave me the update. Probably seen these codes come about 3-4 times each. No rhyme or reason. Sometimes with CC on 70mph or sitting at a stoplight

Did you email Scott and tell him all of the codes you're seeing? Maybe he has some idea what's going on. I forgot that you said you were about to go on a road trip. That must be pretty stressful.

How does the truck run? Beside the trans not shifting to 5th and the CEL, are there any other symptoms?

Not that I can tell, seems to run really well actually, most of this trip so far is between 70 and 85 mph and it cruises good

Edit: It is a little stressful because I planned this trip way in advance, and I wanted to have the ucon so I had some hope of having a little bit better mpg

I think any hope of improved fuel mileage is not gonna happen.

I haven't even calculated MPG since I installed the UCON. But I can tell miles per tank are down for sure. Maybe if I could keep my foot out of it, MPG would improve some. :D

    Update ..

219a/219b fixed but p0420/p430 came back after the update lol. Other than that, trucks is running like a champ.

Scott said my values are spot on .. he wants to remote in when the cels are present. I'm at 12.5 - 11.5 at WOT (will probably be lower at 100%) and the ucon is piggy backing my bd reflashed ecu.

    1. You only got to 70% throttle in the 2nd WOT
      1. Perhaps your floor mats are getting in the way
      2. Should be 100%
      3. Your 1st WOT only made it to 65%
    2. Max MAF = 250 g/s (will be higher at 100%)
    3. WOT Spark: 19.5’
    4. No signs of knock
    5. AFR adaptives very good
70% at WOT ? Might explain the lack of boost. I've always felt I'm missing 1-2 PSI. Had 7psi during this run.
Max coolant temp was @ 198* is that normal even with the 170 thermostat ? Outside temp was 70*.

Provably get the 2.5 pulley / 7th injector / y pipe installed this weekend but I really want it to wait for the valve body upgrade first.

    198 isn't normal.
250 is good for being at 70% lol

Mine was 175 when I did some logs over the weekend. Ambient temp was 75.
