$40 is a drop in the bucket compared to what I've spend with URD. Definitely should be included with the UCON.

Yeah .. but it'll be a starting point. Plus, I had drive 15 miles to find an open spot at 5am. Might have not had my foot all way to the floor. I wanted to hurry and get out .. felt like I was doing something illegal. Lol

Widebands, extra injectors, other sensors that can be logged, not sure what all is possible.

Yeah 40-50 bucks is a drop in the bucket when looking at the project as a whole.

@loginfailed no misfires in 300 miles so far today, but the other codes popped up 2-3 times.

I think i might know why it was misfiring
@StOrMyThEtAcO said that the internal o-ring was causing it.

During gear install, mine was half off, and I crazy glued it

I agree with the way you put it and do see it from that point of view because for anyone doing all of this to their trucks, $40 shouldn't phase them one bit. Scott even told me he was going to ask Gadget to send me the cable when we were talking about logging my Innovate LC2s. But I told him I had already ordered it from Gadget for $40 and we left it at that.

I have no direct knowledge of the arrangement between them, but I suspect Gadget is sitting on a pile of expansion harnesses that should've wound up in the boxes with everyone's' UCONs. Primarily I would say that he doesn't want people just hooking crap up to the UCON all willy-nilly and shorting stuff out. Secondarily, there's an extra $40-$50 revenue being generated each time someone calls looking for their missing harness.

If you're a novice like myself you'll be scratching your head when plugging in the harness to the ucon. I was literally following the out dated instructions to the "T". It states that the 3rd port on the ucon will not be used when all ports will need to be connected. 6 connectors = 6 Ports on the ucon.

I'm probably the only one that went through this .. lol

The orange one that seals the internal cooler. Not an o-ring I guess, just a seal

There's no way that can cause a miss. Even the replacement ones from TRD said to re-glue it if it falls away

I'm not sure why anyone would take that out, the whole idea is to seal the intercooler so all of your intake charge is forced through it

Some have found that the glue doesn't hold it well and it can get sucked down into the engine, others say it runs better without it. When I flooded my truck (8ft of water) and I took the intercooler out, it was barely hanging on. So I took it out and its one less thing to worry about. At first I tried gluing it, but it still didn't hold like I felt it should.
