The highest mine has been is 315 g/s. Before adding the 2.55/7th/headers/ypipe/exhaust it was 290 g/s. I was expecting a lot higher flow from all of the mods I added.

Getting 10psi boost so I'm pretty sure the belt isn't slipping.

Starting to think maybe the AFe intake may be a bottle neck. Going to try opening a run with the lid off to see if MAF number goes up at all. Maybe I need the URD TCAI instead.

It's running 11.5:1 AFR at WOT so I think it's getting enough fuel. The 7th injector is at 38% duty cycle and the main six are at 80% duty cycle. 80% is pretty high. I've read 80% is pretty much maxed out. Maybe I need a set of 800cc injectors.

I might have one for sale in the next month :spy: . Paycheck was enormous this week from all the OT, so I'm gonna pick up all the components for a custom snorkel run. Will be nixing the URD intake at that point.

Only justification need is I wanted it :p

My Harbor Freight welder probably would've gotten it done but YOLO. The Hobart has more capabilities.

    So yea THREE welds. :brianr:

I'll keep that in mind. Going to test first to see if intake is a restriction or not.

My dear wife calls em' dork-els. There's not much water to cross to get into the mall parking lot so I doubt I'll ever need to cut my fender.

Yeah I don't really NEED one, every so often when I'm feeling brave I'll go in the gate at work that floods out sometimes upward of 2-3' feet, and with the front intake I can barely go through water as it just goes straight up to the intake lol

I wouldn't think your intake is the bottleneck. If anything it is the sc inlet shape and diameter. Diameter is small and makes that ubend at rotor inlet. That is the main restriction at high boost wot. 20170526_173416.jpg 20170525_220617.jpg
If the sc inlet is starved for air, it bogs the rotors down robbing hp since it takes more power to overcome the extra vacuum to make more power.

If you are talking about my comment then yes.
Keep in mind, trd/Maggy designed this for 70
    Hp increase.
    Food for thought...
Why is sc inlet smaller than factory tb?

Have you tested inlet flow characteristics and how it affects sc load?

    I have.

There was a nember who ported his as best he could. Not too long ago. Said that is made some nice improvements. It was also ported to match the 70mm TB.

Sounds like free horsepower. (other than time invested) I think I'll pull off the blower sometime in the near future and see where all I can shave off material to allow air to flow more smoothly.

I'm actually leaning towards sending mine off to Steigmieyer next year when I get UCON. Will have it all pulled off anyways to do the cam gears and probably need a rebuild on the blower anyways. Get it ported and polished, maybe have them port it out to a 70mm TB, add the snake bite gear change, move back to the 3.0 pulley (or higher) to get around 10lbs of boost, and then add all the fun stuff to keep temps down.

I bought few months ago the similar boost gauge (without the button) and got a faulty sensor, it shows 1 PSI right away and the gauge was linearly 1 PSI ahead. Speedhut sent me a new one, they said they received a shipment of them that are all reading between 1-2 PSI too high.

So, check that the reading is 0 before starting. I had 1 PSI when IGN on, when started it was 0, but like I said, it went 1 PSI ahead.
