Thanks, I'll make sure to check it once installed. My new ECU is coming in tomorrow too, so fingers crossed it will perform better with the bully dog tune gone forever

Thanks, the price sucked for sure, I wish there was a local junk yard around with an xrunner in it, but these trucks are rare enough plus have a specific part number for the ECU.. lol just my luck

Lol too funny, honestly it can't be any more f'd up than the bully dog tune that I can't remove from the original ECU, so I'm already ahead.
I got the new ECU in with UCON attached, that was the easy part, now I'm having a bitch of a time getting the harnesses through the firewall for the AFR and Boost gauges

Do you have to attach any wires directly from AFR/Boost gauge to the UCON?

I was thinking as long as you wire in the power/ground wire in the dash (or where ever) and connect the boost hose or the wideband sensor, the gauge does the rest???

I've got two gauges, it's a pretty easy setup, I ran the wideband wire along the frame and then up along the firewall away from the headers, then I took that harness and the harness from the boost gauge and ran them together through the big rubber boot in the firewall that the main OEM harness wires go through. The only other wires that need to be run are the light, power, and ground wires for the gauges. It's totally independent from the UCON

I understand what you're saying now. When I read this the first time, I lumped the first half and second half of the sentence together.
I'm onboard with what you're saying and was thinking the same . .. .whew. I thought I may have missed something in the process I thought needed to happen

I present to you the Vibrant 1142. I will henceforth refer to this device as THE DRONE ELIMINATOR.

    IMG_4594.jpg

This should come standard on the URD MK3 exhaust. Truck now sounds f**king awesome. All drone gone. Very quiet at idle. A nice deep growl under normal driving. But it still lets you know what's up when you put your foot into it.
