What mileage are you getting? Mine gets about 12.5 MPG. I think the tune could be improved for fuel efficiency, but I figured since mine is running perfect no need to fiddle with it.

I only drive 16 miles a day so fuel efficiency isn’t really a big objective for me anyways.

    About 16.5 MPG.

No, 30 MPG would be, but I’d happy with 20 MPG. Gas costs twice as much here. Today’s local price is $6.36/gallon. CNG is almost 50% cheaper, but here is only few stations where you can tank up it.

Pre-supercharger I used to get about 18mpg highway. Post supercharger started around 17, then dropped to 16 in August/September. Now I'm at 14.

    Less skinny peddle.

I get about 16 highway on long drives with cruise control on doing 65.
Putting around town 13 or less depending on boost used.

Did you even see the spark plug pics? Ping, rough idle, and declining mileage together are not normal.

I did. They were super rich. Do you have any CEL's? Do you have any major vacuum leaks? MAF dirty?

    I occasionally get a P0136 since the S/C install.

Checked all the vacuum and PCV lines attached to the S/C and they seem normal so far.

Anything else I can check? I should probably verify the S/C intake manifold gasket and to the cylinder head.

Do you have a catch can? Have you sprayed of used a silicone stethoscope to investigate for vacuum leaks?

    Still battling p0420 and p0430.
    No exhaust leaks.
    Sent Scott freeze frame data.

Here is what we found.. per scott.
    1. P0420 – bank-1 issue
    2. Here is the operating space
      1. engine rpm / 1665 - min
      2. vehicle speed / 88 km-h
      3. calculated LOAD value / 57.6%
      4. engine coolant temp / 88*C
      5. commanded throttle actuator control / 23.5%
      6. fuel/air command equivalence ratio / 0.965 (rich)
    3. Adaptives all look good:
      1. These show the trims all balance
      2. short term fuel trim bank 1 / 5.5%
      3. long term fuel trim bank 1 / -0.8%
      4. short term fuel trim bank 2 / 0.8%
      5. long term fuel trim bank 2 / -8.6%
    4. Here is the clue:
      1. equivalence ratio lambda B1-S1 / 1.041 (wraf1 reads lean)
      2. oxygen sensor output voltage B1-S2 / 0.175V (hego1 is lean)
      3. equivalence ratio lambda B2-S1 / 1 (wraf2 at stoich)
      4. oxygen sensor output voltage B2-S2 / 0.820V (hego2 is rich)
    5. Hypothesis:
      1. Assumptions:
i.Tests for both banks are done at the same time in parallel

ii.Commanded fuel/air is cycled between rich and lean and drives both banks

      1. Bank-1 passenger side air leaking is causing both B1 sensors to show lean
      2. The leak is driving the test to fail – OSC time calculation not working because of leak
    1. Experiment
      1. Let’s clear the code to see if this repeats.

Just installed a catch can this past week for good measure, but my truck has never consumed any measurable amount of oil reading from the dipstick.

Silicone stethoscope spray? Not sure I get it.

:notsure: pretty sure this is a typo.

Think he meant spray and then listen to see what happens.

A boost leak would be problematic. I do have some silicone spray so that's an easy check I hope.

Did the operational issues start after the catch can?

Disconnect the catch can, to make sure that it isn't causing the leak, while attaching a hose in factory manner.

    Which brand is it?

Does it have a breather on it? (Should be no breather.)

I meant to type silicone HOSE stethoscope. (Just a long piece of hose with ear at one end and the other proding around the engine.)

Nope, added the catch can last week to eliminate the possibility of the carbon buildups being from oil. Problems going on for a couple months now. Primecooling baffled universal. It's sealed pretty well. No breather.
