UFC 145 Jones vs Evans

i am a fan of both, evans has proven he has what it takes to own that belt, so has jones...... but between the two im going with jones, younger, better training camp, he like anderson silva is unpredictable what he will do.

Flying knee, spinning elblow etc...

evans is a wrestler at heart typcially what ive seen in other fights wrestlers tend to do what they do best which is wrestle they throw out all other techniques especially when the fight is not going there way. its in there best interest to hang on and enjoy the ride.

 

i think he would beat anderson as well, that would be a great fight both have similar fighting technique

 

I would like Rashad to win, but Jones has such a reach advantage on Rashad that it wont be easy

For real though, Schaub had a quick rise fighting the best of the best HWs and ran into a hot Nog.

This fight against Rothwell should be a doozey also.

 

I say if he dropped down to 185 jones would probably lose, but if anderson went up to 205 it would be pretty even only because jones is so wild and unkown. I still think silva would win though. Jones only advantages are his reach, wrestling, and unpredictability. Now his wrestling probably wouldn't work because once on the ground he would have to worry about silva submitting him, also nobody has been able to damage silva on the ground even when sonnen had him on the ground for 5 straight rounds he didn't do much damage. At 185 when silva connects with a solid punch it mess people up, might stun them a little or drop them, but at 205 his punches fuck people up BAD! (watch his fights at 205 vs irvin and griffin) And as far as striking and connecting with the face, silva is MUCH better than jones. The rest of the body is much more even. I think silva would land one or two to jones's face and he would be pretty much over.

The cut is even deeper than it looks. It's probably the worst cut i've ever seen, it goes all the way to the bone and is across his entire cheek.
