So I got a Black Low profile UWS Toolbox for Christmas. I have had it on the truck now for 3 months and I have already started to notice chipping...A big chip came off today, about the size of a penny. I called them Saturday and they said to call Monday about it.
I might see if I can return this one and get a silver one? It has a 1 year warrenty. I really like the black toolbox but silver won't chip.

    Anyone have similar experiences?

Haha well it's still under warrenty, so I'm gonna send it back. It just fustrates me that when I got it I put wax on it to protect it and have only had it for 3 months! UWS makes a great box, but maybe a little thin on powdercoating...:(

Thanks. I got it from my Dad as a present, but I think he ordered it directly from them...

my bud bilt skid was 100 even, i think it depends though but its 1.25 per clickk of the gun, a whole bed usually is 300-400

That's not a bad deal...But I called UWS today and everything is covered! So I just have to take it to my dealer and then they will send it.
    That's a relief!
