Ugliest Color for 2nd Gens

the sand color makes it look like a piece of shit on wheels to me. its just to boring, i like black, white, red and blue all the same tho. its what they've done to the vehicle and how they have modded it that matters IMO, stock is stock. No color can change that

 

...Speedway blue is no color for a Tacoma...

 

i agree, i dont like red on vehicles, well maybe a nice Testarossa...but on a truck its not my style. the sand color is bleah on a 2wd, but maybe alittle less boring on a 4x4 crewcab longbed. its really depends on the trim and cab configurations but the sand is my least favorite, then the red, then the green, though it is a nice color in person. i love white but had bad luck with the last 2 hite GMCs i had......so i got the MGM and glad i did. the Silver is nice but it blends with the grey interior just too much "silver/lt grey" and i refuse to TRY to maintain black, though its HOT!!!

i just got my MGM yesterday, its a freaking awesome color. Shades are always neutral...white, black, greys, silvers even (though more of a color)...very common and friendly

when taken care of.......Black is the nicest color on ANYTHING...especially black lingerie on my wife....

i like it on the access cab 4x4 and the Xrunners. certain truck trims i like it in, others i dont.


i voted Sand as least favorite color, but i wouldnt say ugly....just least favorite.

Timberland Green < Speedway Blue

I didn't even know the color existed until I saw one driving by during lunch; the guy drove like a real ass too.

 

Desert sand is great because it hides the dirt.
My boss has a white GMC. The snow is melting now and 5 minutes after he washes it the truck looks like shit.

 

Well... all factory colors for the Tacoma, are good in my eyes. However, if i ever were to see a yellow Taco i'd probably be tempted to go and grab a few flat black shaker cans and spray paint away...

 

Oh yeah and the last thing I was concerned about when shopping for my truck was the color. You guys sound like a bunch of chicks talking about your shoes!

 

The thread asks what is the ugliest color. Maybe if you read it you could contribute something meaningful.

The worst color is any color that stands out.

The best color is the one overlooked by the Park Ranger, BLM Ranger, or the Forest Ranger.

I'm Magnetic Gray, for that reason. If they made "Stealth", that's what I'd have. LMTFA!

I don't care what's Pretty or Bitchin'. It's all going to get scratched to s**t anyway.

 

all stock tacos look blahhhh! They need mods to make them rock. Desert sand looks awesome with black accents!

 

I really wish I would have got Desert Sand Mica instead of the silver. I think I've seen maybe two Taco's in the DSM color, vs about a million in the silver.

 

Desert Sand here, Speedway Blue is just too.. well you know. I really like the Magnetic Grey and Timberland Green. I'd even take the new puke color brown over the SWB!

 

Funny, after I make the post about never seeing any DSM colors, I see two just today....

I grabbed a DSM on purpose and it took a while to get it. It is a rare and original color. I don't like pulling up to a light next to the same color truck. Makes me feel like I am on some sort of team with the other person. It is kind of like the Jeep wave. Just not for me.
That fact that it is an "old person" color doesn't bother me. I actually like being able to pick my vehicle out from the sea of black and silver at the store parking lot. It looks like I will have to go with Timberland or Magnetic next.
Speedway blue is horrible. Still can't believe someone at toyota signed off on that one. It looks like it belongs on a teenage girls ear.

 

i like dark blue my cuz got and 05 dark blue i personally like every close if i had a choice i wouldve have got a black or speedway blue the sb is my favorite

 

Trucks are supposed to be dirty! Down here thats the case anyways. I bought white so it would show MORE mud lol. I do like the Desert Sand though. I've seen a few and they look good. I've never seen a Speedway Blue in person though.

 

Wow!....I just bought a pre-owned (pampered) '08 DC (Desert Sand).....at first I didn't like the color, but it's growing on me. For me it sort of looks like a gold color, especially in the sun. I can't believe it's leading the votes for worst color!!.....My wife hates the Speedway blue.
