Well I did a quick search and didn't find anything really.. Kind of a odd question.

I am wondering what you guys use to store all your truck fluids in, a container or a box or some sort.

Things I am talking about are:

    1. Brake cleaner
    2. Power steering fluid
    3. Brake fluid
    4. Grease
    5. Penetrating oil
    6. Lubricating oil

So on and so forth.. All I am really wondering is what would be a good box/storage/container to put these in? I could just go to walmart and buy a rubbermaid container, but am curious to see what you guys are using.

I made a thread here... but no responses yet.

unfortunatly I have to replace most of my camping gear this year due to using a tent as an apartment the whole summer last year, even through a hurricane. Any good places to buy good (enough) quality gear at a low cost? preferably ships to Canada?

campsaver.com (current 20% coupons are SUM-1978 & SUM-1979 good through 8/7) they get a lot of last years leftovers, closeouts, overstocks, etc so if you're not super picky about color, etc they can have some great deals.
    backcountry.com
steepandcheap.com (one item at a time, about every 30 minutes they offer something new. if you pay close attention you can get some good deals here too)
alleghenywholesale.com (military type stuff, good deals) they're on ebay too if that makes any difference....

    Someone explain this to me....

The faint smell of fresh campfire smoke, while you're sitting in front of the fire, is the greatest part of the day/night but it turns into the worst smell on the planet when you catch a whiff of smoke while gathering up your bundle of laundry upon your return home.

    Cold smoke. Yuck.

You get the same thing from the BBQ. Smells awesome while you're doing it.

Thanks guys, I will look at those sites. I am looking for lightweight stuff to use when Hiking, I still have a few "base camp" supplies that are usable including my massive 10 person tent that survived hurricane Irene with only a small repairable tear.

Probably be real nice when it is hot, when it's cold I think I would want to be on the ground. I never sleep on one though, but all the camping I do is out of a backpack so it's just out of the question for me, but not because I wouldn't like one.

Several pages ago there was a discussion about trail meals and this weekend I went out to the Joyce Kilmer-Slickrock Wilderness and hiked an out and back 9 miler over a ridge and down to Slickrock Creek. There was very little I enjoyed about the trip except for the break we took at the top of the ridge and my dinner. It was a Mountain House Chicken a la King. Wow was it delicious. I will be purchasing several more of these for upcoming hikes and wanted everybody to know that it was a delicious and hearty meal out on the trail.

gonna have to try the chicken a la king. I just had chili mac for the first time this weekend. It was amazing! I would have to even say it was the best Mountain House meal I have had yet. I also tried the Backpackers Pantry dark chocolate cheesecake one night..... Let me just say it was nothing compared to cheesecake and the texture of it made me gag a little. I have tried some odd/nasty food and not gagged but that one sure made the gag reflex activate.
