    90 horsepower?? seems like wishful thinking.
    Hard to believe it had only 10 less HP than a 80's VW GTI.

    That thing is cool! Pretty crazy that they offer a 3/36k warranty on a car that old. I’m sure the gaskets and seals are rotted and ready to give out.

    It took the Germans till the 1984 GTI to get to 100HP from a 1.8 liter 4cyl.
    It's hard to believe Toyota was getting 90HP out of a smaller motor 17 years sooner.
    However, I don't know for sure.
