I never had to calibrate my speedo and I just have a classic anyway. The speedo read differently than my trucks and the same as GPS so it must have been calibrated when I corrected the UG odometer.

Since speed is dependent on distance I'm certain that it's taken care off when you calibrate your distance (i.e. variation with tire size)

You are correct, I found the answer in the distance calibration. Thanks for the reply.

There is a lot of conversation about the features, functions, programming, mounting, etc of the UltraGauge... Once the GB closes this thread will be done so I thought why not continue those conversations in a dedicated thread, so here it is.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ultragauge-thread-all-things-ultragauge.391335/

I don't know if this is a good spot for this or not... If you have any suggestions for a different/better one let me know and I'll request a move.

I get the same reading on my scanguage too. On really hot days (over 100*) and stuck in traffic I've hit the 190's on my tranny according to the scanguage, all while towing nothing at all. When driving on the highway on a hot day it can hover in the high 160's. Just got my UltraGuage today so I'll see how the readings compare to what I've had on the SC for the last year.

Ahh yes, the most famous line from a TV show that was never actually said! Funny how these things happen, I would love to know why it went down in history that way...
