Okay, so I know the 2001-2004 Tacoma's have some ABS issues with the UltraGauge and I know that their website has this fix for it:

    http://ultra-gauge.com/customer_support/knowledgebase.php?article=18

My problem is that my #14 and #6 ports on my OBDII don't have any wire or pins going to the #14 and #6 ports.

    image_zpsa74e8c65_53d0e07471b7eccfadc41298cc060cc8631a2a47.jpg

I have no idea what to do. I plugged my UG in and rode about a mile and had no ABS lights come on or anything, but the UG kept beeping with an error message or something. When I first plugged it in, it said there was a 9141 Protocol. I don't know if that's got anything to do with the ABS or what. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Also, I found this thread, which tells how to fix the ABS issue, but my OBDII isn't wired the same way as the one in those pics.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!

I use a scanguage and my ABS light came on, a phone call to scanguage got me another ODBII cable that solved the issue.

Thanks. My problem is, my ABS doesn't seem to be affected by the UG...I've got no idea what's going on

Seems like your wiring is different... might have something to do with being a prerunner but I dont know. I've been searching for a bit and can't find a reason for the 2 obd connectors being different.

At some point today I will run out to the truck and check my harness because I was just planning on ordering one as well and want it to be just a plug and play

Yeah, see if yours is different from mine, if you don't mind.

My wires are in the 1, 5, 8, 12, 13, and 15. UltraGauge doesn't have telephone support, so I sent an email and will hopefully get a response sometime by the end of the week. It's killing me to not be able to play with it!

I just put an Ultragauge in my '01 Tacoma and have had no issues. I'll have to take a look at the OBD connector to see what mine has.

Thanks...I don't know why mine would be any different. You didn't have the ABS issue or anything?

Where are the wires on the ultra guage side?

Have you tried contacting Ultraguage to see if they might know anything?

    Yeah, I posted this above:

"UltraGauge doesn't have telephone support, so I sent an email and will hopefully get a response sometime by the end of the week. It's killing me to not be able to play with it!"

I just got an email saying they should reply in 24-48 hrs...I have a feeling they're just going to say to refer to the 2001 Tacoma ABS issue page, which ISN'T my issue

I can't remember exactly what it says, but it's something like, "Error: Press Down Scroll to Dismiss" and I do and 30 secs later, it does it again.

EDIT: But there's no ABS light coming on on my dash
