When I get gas I'll push the up button and menu to make it come on, then enter fuel fillup by pushing the up button. I'm going to leave it in Power mode 2.

Does anyone truly know what the differences are between mode 1 and 2?

Having the instructions printed in 1968 for my Heathkit electronics kit made a difference. There is a PFD, print it. About 50 pages...... Amazing what old school put it in a book and take the time to read and actually use a pencil and write notes down. And dump the shit pages in the beginning about safety etc. Back of the binder right away.

3 ring binders are cheap. Knowledge is priceless.

I printed it out, but I must have skipped over the start up buttons. With that said, I bow to o'ye of  knowledge.

Are you sure you are using the 2012+ codes for the trans temp?

Got mine all mounted up. Just need to fine tune the gauges. Love where this thing is located and now I can monitor my gas and driving habits better.

Fuel is 21.1, my engine is 2.7. :) I think 4.0 is correct, but i don't always think right. Someone will be along shorty to set this straight.

So how accurate is the MPG reading on this? It was showing 19.4 but I'm hand calculating 17.8.

Did you calibrate your distance and mpg/fuel?

Maybe I didn't. I'll read through the thread again to make sure. Wasn't much in the instructions.

Calibrate your distance first then mpg. There's a pdf file somewhere on here

Found the PDF on their website. Will take some time to calibrate since I don't drive it all the time.
