Polar, if calibrate the UltraGuage as in the instructions it will be very usefull. Also if you don't fill up completely just enter the number of gallons and it will work. It won't be 100% on the dot but useable. My friend has a GM truck with the automatic readings and it's not 100% either. If you haven't already, read page 29/30 for the Fuel and Distance calibrations in the Installation & Operation Manual. There's a lot of other usefull settings(Engine Coolant Temp {important if you pull a trailer up steep grades}, Battery Voltage {saved my ass once}, Trip Distance {calibrated to your specific tires}, Reading Codes and a few others) depending on your preferences . Thanks Don, The gauge is super neat in any case. However, my next long trip is on a bicycle for a month, so I'll keep it in the truck since it won't be able to measure calories burned per mile or hour. :)

I have the Injector cut-off set at 20. Is that correct for a 2.7L manual transmission? I remember reading something, maybe it should 1+ the recommended value, which is 19.

Sorry Polar, I know absolutly nothing about the injector cutoff or the 2.7L. Maybe some one else can chime in. Don

Which would you recommend, the Scangauge or Ultragauge? Do they both need to be calibrate?
    Thanks

I am doing my research "man", What do you think asking questions on Tacoma World is? If you don't know the answer, don't reply. Leave it to someone who does... man

I don't know where you get lazy from? I thought Tacoma World was here to help Taco owners with questions. Unfortunately I end up with dick like you posting a reply. You have made it clear to me, and to everyone else on TW that you have nothing better to do than have a go at other members. Either you were not raised to be polite to people or have you just decided to become a rude, arrogant, jackass?
I suggest you get yourself a girlfriend (or boyfriend in your case) and a life...man
