I set the search parameters to only look in the 1st gen section and got:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/123833-ultragauge-worth.html

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/114643-ultragauge-scan-gauge-owners-report.html

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/112612-ultragauge-1st-gen.html

    I will give my review:

My UG worked pretty good until I broke it. I didn't like that you can't detach the cord from the unit and also the slow read times. It would pretty much make certain alarms useless. Oh and I think there is an issue when using it on 1st gens with ABS. I don't remember the exact year but I think it was 02.

This does work, by "modify" I just removed the 14th pin from the extension leaving my Ultra Gauge and Tacoma intact. The ABS light is a common occurrence with U.G's in 1st Gens.
