Why not just look for any biodegrable oil that will do the same thing ? If it’s cheap, it should be fine. But if it’s going to cost you an arm and a leg to do yearly which has to be done, look for something cheaper. Oil based is oil....and it’s great to help prevent rust, especially in the body panels and around welds where most rust occurs.

A friend had his Chevy done in it recently. It's REALLY messy but looks like it will hold up good. Personally, I prefer Fluid Film but I may be biased as I bought the FF gun and have done about a dozen cars/trucks with it. I think the NH is comparable to FF just not lanolin based like FF is.

It’s important too in this advertisement to read the problem in rust proofing. Here is an excerpt of the actual process by which rust occurs and why it needs to be addressed routinely.

Most people will rarely see the underside of their car or truck, but that won’t change its condition. It’s important your vehicle’s chassis and undercarriage are well protected from the elements. The fact is, a new car is subjected to thousands of spot welds and numerous bends and folds during production.

This process damages the pre-coated metal, allowing exposure to the corrosion process. Besides cosmetic damage, corrosion also weakens a vehicle’s structural integrity and can affect steering and suspension components. The destructive force of auto corrosion is the single greatest threat to your vehicle. It can lead to rapid deterioration of metal, not only resulting in poor appearance, loss of value but real safety hazards.“

When I was a kid, we just put used oil in a spray bottle and sprayed the under carriage a couple times a year. It worked and was close to free.

    EPA don't read this post.

Never used it on cars but have on my attachments for my tractor.
Didn’t find it any better or worse....which is to say, it’s fine.

And since then, we’ve learned the problem of using extremely carcinogenic materials that finds its way into ground water.
