whaaat... you are in Contra costa County? How come I've never seen you, I go there a lot, specially on Thursdays and Fridays. Some of my friends go to DVC. I might just take you up on your offer to show me how you did your off road lights, one of these days.

Im guessing it would under acceleration.

it's cocked at the steepest angle I could have it to where you have to raise the hood all the way up to get the lights to come on. If it does come on under acceleration, it's impossible for me to tell from the cockpit.

Mount a camera under the hood, and punch the throttle.

I will be doing the same thing soon but I am just going to get a fender mounted push switch like older trucks have. Nothing comes with a light anymore!

All this fancy stuff inside and outside but the skip things like trunk lights and hood lights

Even if the light did come on under acceleration though the truck is running and charging and the LED is draining next to nothing. How does it work parking on a hill? Or is the angle of the pen greater than that?

I haven't had the occasion to park it on a steep hill as of yet to tell, but since you have to lift the hood up beyond what, 45 degrees to get the light to come on? It's gonna have to be a pretty steep hill. Either way the pen is in a little holder that I can adjust it to an even steeper angle if I so choose.

Maybe I missed it, but what kind of blue pod lights did you use for that mean glow? A link to the light maybe...I might have to try that.
