undercarriage protection from rust

    so im wanting to get my undercarriage sprayed before the snow starts ive tired to look here with no luck or im just not tring hard enough haha. anyways i posted on the FB page as well, can this be done DIY or should i take it in?
    to a shop? if it can be done by myself what shoud i use?

    I have read some threads on people using fluid film or ams oil mphd and spraying the undercarriage. I am sure someone will chime in with a link to the thread I do not know how to link it. If you are willing to do the work I would do it yourself not get overcharged by a shop to do it.

    thanks for all the help and info. another question where i live they dont salt the roads they use a mix of sand and de-icer i have an 08' should i do it anyways?

    I personally would but that is just me being anal. I bought a couple cans of the stuff just to soak my leaf packs in to keep them from rusting and I will eventually spray under my truck soon just for comfort in prevention. Hell toyota will only replace or fix the frame if it has rusted entirely through. I rather not have to deal with that headache and ride around on a rusty frame until it is rusted enough for them haha.
