Do you do your own work on your truck? I just use a wire brush and a rattle can every time I rotate my tires and it takes care of everything just fine. The real problem, if there is one, will occur from the inside of the frame where typical rustproofing won't reach anyway. You should flush out the inside of the frame every time you wash it and make sure the weep holes in the bottom of the frame are draining properly.

This might be a stupid question.... but did you take your truck to the dealer to look at the 'frame rust' warrantee?

If not....then perhaps its time to have them take a look at it.

Depending on the results....you might get a replacement frame or an undercoating (or whatever they do) FREE from the dealership.

I was in at the dealer the other night just driving through, and came across a 1st gen 01-04 that had just had the undercoating done. I was amazed at the job they did, the entire from was covered in what looked like bed liner but thicker. I was hesitant to bring mine in, but now that I see that I'm stoked! so i'd say do the same, go get it checked out first
