Universal Vehicle Gun Holster

Has anyone had experience using one of these holsters in the Tacoma? http://www.gumcreekcustoms.com/Universal-Vehicle-Holster-Mount-p5.html I typically carry mine behind the small net in the center console when not on my person. I would like this situation when on long road trips or in seedy parts of town.

 

I'd stick with the center console option. There are a lot of downsides to mounting that holster in that location in that orientation.

 

I think I would be hitting my knees on it a lot. I saw one where it had a strap that wrapped around the bottom part up the seats upright portion, still kind of a hard angle to get at.
I like wearing mine on the small of my back towards the right side in a left hand IWB holster, comfortable and quick access...
On long trips (Va- Maine) I place it on the seat next to me/tucked between the cushions.
