Does anyone have any experience with universal type O2 sensors? I know that universal ones don't have the factory connector on it and would require some soldering, but that is easy. If that is the only difference then I am going to order 2 new universals.

Give it a try, but you may still get a CEL, our trucks don't play well with other parts other than OEM like Denso and NGK.

I had to replace a front O2 sensor when I put my headers on and deliberated about buying the cheapo. I went with the Toyota (Denso) because I did read somewhere in TN that there were troubles with the others. I know...........they are expensive! I paid $175.00, which included shipping for one sensor.
