This is on a 2018 TRD Sport. I have discovered an unused and plugged connector on the wiring harness that leads to the headlights. The location is just in front of the battery. Anybody know what the connector would be used for?

I just checked my wife's 2019 Limited Tacoma and the same connector is there and plugged. Our trucks have most all options so I can't imagine what it would be used for.

That is it and the thread you linked solved the mystery. It's a junction connector. Thanks.
