its like a condom... i'd rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

Your lift is the exact same lift im waiting to install onto my truck, only i have 1/2 inch spacers, but i hope using 1/2 spacers wont ruin the ride quality, might switch down to a 1/4

4 notches total, the last notch would be .00, then .85 and so on, ending at 2.5 the more you move up the notches, the tighter the spring will be, increasing your lift you gain.

I was actually going to use that quote in my response to that guys question, but decided not to at the last moment.

As far as the spacer, I wouldn't go any more than the 1/4" spacer that I'm running now. I'm just kind of puzzled as to why I'm running the same lift that so many people have and I'm a solid 1" higher.

What should my rear measurements be at? I'm currently sitting at 24" in the back to with my ToyTec/Deaver AAL.

That's exactly what I thought! The spring perch that the spring rests on is sitting on the very last notch, so I'm getting ZERO inches of lift from the shocks. So what else could be wrong :annoyed:

The 1/4" top plate spacers from Toytec usually don't come with longer studs , are you sure you didn't get the 1/2" ones ?

Well I sure hope these settle some more, gonna suck when I gotta take these spacers off and get another alignment.

I bought the kit found here:

It's the same part number as found in this 3" lift.

    Those aren't the 1/4" spacer , they are 10mm or 3/8" and provide 3/4" +/- of lift .

So , theroretically you should have about 3 1/4" - 3 1/2" of lift from the 885's and that spacer combo

Being as many 885's give 3" lift as is, combined with the spacers, hthat may well have put him near 4". I tell people to lift without them FIRST, then see if they need to be added later.

So I need to have the spacers removed and then have the truck re-aligned? I just don't understand, why is it that I got so much lift from this set up compared to others?
