Wow man nice truck

 

Nice truck and i love the BlueHLM! Looks great except for the #24 sticker on the back window.

 

I find this a bit ironic since you made that comment in post #24.

SWB is awesome! I must have missed it, but when was the "crash" [EDIT: ah, February]...pics/link?

 

It was in mid February.

I was rear ended and pushed into a minivan in front of me.

Both the front and rear were totally smashed, and the frame was bent.

Damages totalled $21,000. The truck was in the body shop for 10 1/2 weeks.

Yikes...did they straighten the frame out (I wouldn't have noticed it but-for the thread showing the damage; post-body shop photos look good).

 

$21,000 damage?? Did you have to get a salvage title once everything was back together?

 

The truck was dismantled and a new frame was installed.

 

No. The truck was not totalled.

It was less than 2 years old at the time of the accident and had an estimated value of $27,500.

Funny thing is, that's more than what I paid for it in April of 2008 brand new.

 

Nice...basically a new truck then.

 

Yep. And it was done at a dealership that sells Lexus and has a huge collision center, so they have a full compliment of Toyota trained mechanics in addition to the body and fender guys.
