Updates & Mods with PICS

Well, I've had the truck for 2 weeks and can't seem to leave well enough alone. First was the window tint...mandatory. (20% is illegal in Alabama, but it is still mandatory in my book.) Then I got the UWS low profile black toolbox. Next I turned my kitchen and living room into a shop and did the black headlight mod and spidertrax spacers. (Thanks to TW for the tips, all went well!) Then the Smittybilt Nerf Steps. ($250 total from truckcustomizers.com) Next up is an Avid Light Bar and an OME lift to replace the horrible spacer lift and some BFG AT's to get rid of the current tires. I don't do a lot of mudding, mostly trail heads to hike/camp and desert when I am out west. 4+ years of detailing cars made me know the consequences of mudding just to see how much Alabama Red Clay I can throw on the truck.) Whatta y'all think? Sound off!











Thanks for the ideas, support, and help so far TW! I just got back from a 450 mile quick trip to the mountains with the old lady on the Harley, so its time to drink a beer (or 12), eat about 2,000 mg's of Advil, and relax. I'm out. How much do 285's rub with stock OR wheels and Spidertrax?

 

Supataco: Its a 3" spacer lift

Gabex35: No rubbing with minor trimming. If I have a 6'5 250 guy in my passenger seat, then I MAY get a slight bit of rubbing when hitting a bump at the perfect angle. Other than that, no issues at all.

I like the nerf steps, how do you like them? Did you do spacer just in front?

 

The nerf steps are great so far, I wish the front step was a few inches further back, but they are great, install was easy, and the price was right. Spacer in the front, and a block on the rear. The previous owner put it on. It serves its function well enough, but I want to get rid of them for obvious reasons.
