Upgrade or Suspension Mod Needed?

Finally blew up my sedan and got a Tacoma! Loving every mile. First thing I've done was build out the bed to be a camping machine, as half my life is on the road. Between lumber and gear, probably have 500+ lbs back there. Is that enough weight that I should consider upgrading the suspension or lift it a bit? I don't plan on doing any insane offroading but will definitely be beating it up a bit on the trail...

 

Full leaf pack is what everyone is going to suggest. Followed by how much stock toyota springs suck. Look into Dakar's.

You'll like Dakars with that much right in the bed.

 

Depending on the budget you could also add a leaf. Purchase one or check out the thread link in my signature if your not opposed to a little DIY/ junkyard hunting.
