Agreed, if your genuinely serious about getting a 4x4. With the market for Tacoma's as hot as it is you probably wouldn't lose anything selling/trading your current truck.

 

I’m just going to wait till 23’s come
Out for me to get the 4x4. This will go to my dad once I get the new one. It’s my first Tacoma so it’ll be great to learn and experiment with the current Truck. I most likely may even wait till the 2024 model year. Usually the first year models are hit and a miss.

 

Bro you just bought it, you’ll be fine with 2wd you don’t even off road. The fire road will be fine on a day with nice weather.

 

Mike’s (xrunnerdude) harness won’t work on the SR5s. Just the TRD models. The SRs are tricky because the turn and DRL are on a common circuit.

 

Oops, I didn't realize the SR's were different.

I'm planning on doing this mod eventually. Thankfully I've already got a TRD, so finding a harness for me will be much easier.

I just noticed @Puppypunter was working on something custom for these types of applications. Should be interesting

 

If you plan on ever putting anything in the bed of your truck a bed mat is a must.

If l had to guess l would say 2024 will be when the 4th Gen comes out.
