I just got a 2018 Toyota Tacoma SR5 only thing it came with is floor mats. I wanted basic. Though the Speakers stink, I’m not looking for huge sound just wondering if just replacing Stock Speakers would sound a whole lot better?

I put the top of the line 450Q OEM audio in my SR5 and kept the head unit and I love it...

Don’t do it....that’s all the devil needs to suck you down the rabbit hole. Next thing you will think is “you know I just want to add some storage pieces”, or “I think a lift would be nice, just to level it out”, or getting in on a group buy for something you aren’t sure you need, but it’s a great price and you wouldn’t mind having it in your truck. RUN NOW!!:mudding:

Yes. I installed the Subaru tweeters in the dash and Infinity speakers from Crutchfields in the doors. Much improved.

Highly recommend the subaru tweeter swap (as many others will) as your first step.

    Too much.
Got a picture of the head unit?

If it's the 7" Entune non-JBL, I can say it was definitely worth it to me. In the end, I added a sub and an amp, but the speaker upgrade was great.

Just leave it. It's a truck. Spend the money on other cool stuff.
If you want that high quality sound, buy a vehicle that has it. You will NEVER achieve that in a Taco.

I'm old and my hearing sucks from decades of riding motorcycles and blasting loud music, so the non-JBL premium audio actually sounds pretty decent to me....

I'm still thinking of doing the subaru tweeters because it's so cheap and gets such good reviews.
