I have a 2001 DC with a brush bar and I want to upgrade the stock suspension. The frame is being replaced and i'm getting new stock rear leaf packs, so I figured it will probably be best just to do the whole thing right now.

Offroading is not really a factor. Old logging roads would be just about the worst the truck will be, but who knows?

I don't want to lift because I don't want to deal with any complications from lifting. I understand if you keep it under 3" I should be good. I'd like to keep it around 1".

I want to go with the 5100's all around because I don't think anyone has ever said bad things about them.

I can't recall coming across an aftermarket coil that doesn't give any lift. Is new stock coils my best bet?

I'd like to beef up the rear leaf with an AAL.

Really new when it comes to this stuff, I want to hear from all you experienced owners!

K&N cold air kit, Kenwood double din with dvd player, navigation, rear cam. hook up with One JL 12" sub powered by a 800 watt pioneer amp, Sirius/XM satellite radio, TRD Neoprene Seat covers, Tinted windows all around, Trifecta Tonneau Cover, Billies at 1.75 and a 1.5 block in the back
If you want one inch of lift and dont plan on offroading grab a little spacer for the front and back. Or spend more $ and get 4 Billies set at stock or .85

I'd prefer not to really lift at all, and definitely don't want spacers.

The guy said it get 5100s and set them at .85 that will give you a "little lift" and it isn't that noticeable.......

Pulled the trigger on the 5100's all around. Going to ask the dealership about pricing on stock coils.

Will the new stock rear suspension be good enough for the rear billies, or would getting a small AAL be better? I'm leaning toward a 1.5 AAL from wheelers.

Also, I went and took measurements from the ground to the highest part of the wheel well.

    front driver side : 34 1/4"
    front pass side : 34 1/2"

    rear driver side : 35 1/2"
    rear pass side : 35 3/4"
